Cooking Connections

The program is free. It runs for 6 weeks during which we discuss nutrition information, cook and eat together. Participants receive a resource book that includes some amazing recipes, a copy of 'Healthy Eating for Seniors' and apron to keep! We also get to eat amazing food every week!
Low income seniors (55+) that participate in this program are eligible to participate in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program. This program provides participants with $432 in coupons over a 16 week period that can be used to purchase food at BC Associated Farmers' Markets.
